Marc Buncher is the President and CEO of Siemens Mobility North America. With more than 4,000 employees and more than 30 facilities across the United States and Canada. Buncher is responsible for overseeing the company’s growth within the region. This includes the leadership of five business segments: rolling stock, rail signaling and electrification, turnkey projects, maintenance and aftermarket parts and software solutions.

Under Buncher’s leadership, the organization has seen tremendous gains in growth and market share. This includes the largest order in the company’s 160 years it’s been doing business within the U.S., with a $2.4 billion contract from Amtrak to design, manufacture and technically support the new Amtrak Airo fleet. It also includes a recent announcement of a $220 million investment into a new east coast rail manufacturing and service hub in Lexington, Carolina.

Buncher has spent the last 30 years of his career serving the rail and transit industry. He has built up an extensive background of rail and transit acquisitions.
