Jay Collins leads electric vehicle (EV) and mobility solutions at WEX, a leading global commerce platform. As Senior Vice President of the emerging division, Jay oversees a team focused on helping fleet customers accelerate the integration of EVs into their businesses while reducing their carbon footprint.
An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for job creation has guided Jay throughout his diverse, 30-year career, which has included numerous startup companies and new business ventures within WEX.
In his prior role as SVP and General Manager of Small Business, Jay led the team that quintupled the growth rate of WEX’s Small Business division. He also helmed the company’s Fleet entry into Europe as well as Corporate Strategy during his 17-year tenure at WEX.
Jay earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire. He is President of the Maine Cancer Foundation Board and serves on two for-profit boards in the Portland, Maine, business community.
