It’s tough to get much done in January. Everyone is behind after the holidays and the cold weather is anything but energizing.
Same thing in February. Seasonal depression sets in and seemingly everyone tries to leave town to find warmer weather.
March and April are tough too. The kids are out on spring break and March Madness consumes the attention of even the most casual sports fans.
May through August is a drag. The nice weather leaves us staring out the window and wanting to leave work early. Kids are out for the summer, so vacation season hits full stride and extended weekends become the norm.
September and October can be challenging. Kids go back to school, bringing a whole host of new adventures, and the looming winter leaves us grasping from the last remnants of summer.
Seemingly all of November is lost to Thanksgiving.
And December is a complete wash.

There’s always an excuse for why we can’t be productive. There’s always a reason why now isn’t a good time.
Which is why it’s so important to do great things today.
There’s never going to be a good time, so we might as well do our work now.
