When we describe a meeting time as 2:00 EDT or EST, it’s supposed to add clarity. Typically, the D/S just adds confusion though.
Almost no one knows whether we’re currently in Daylight or Standard time. We just know that the clocks change in the fall and the spring.
Why not save the confusion and just set the meeting at 2:00 ET (Eastern Time)?
Most people are wrong when they try to include the D/S anyways.
