From the ground up

A sudden change in routine gives us a unique opportunity.

Rather than impulsively following the same patterns that we’ve gotten used to, we’re forced to change things up.

Likely the current restrictions will eventually subside and things will get back to “normal” (or at least close), but we don’t necessarily need to automatically fall back into our old routine when that happens. Instead, we have the opportunity to be intentional about how we reconstruct our lives.

Just because we’re used to eating certain ways, doing certain things, and spending time with certain people doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how it always has to be.

It’s tough to find the perspective to reflect and make drastic changes when we’re in the swing of things, but now that everything has been disrupted, we have a unique opportunity question our previous patterns and routines.
