Learning is difficult. Doing things that we don’t yet know how to do is uncomfortable.

Yet this discomfort is necessary if we want to grow.

If you’re ever too comfortable or happy in a given role, it’s probably a good sign that you aren’t growing.

Which is a good sign that it’s time to look for ways to push yourself or look for a new role.

The challenge is that the next logical step in this reasoning is the realization that life will never be completely comfortable if you’re ambitious.
