One of the best things about dogs is the way they show their excitement.
They wag their tail when it’s time for dinner.
They run to us when we come home.
They chase after a stick or a rabbit like it’s the most exciting thing they’ve ever done.
They aren’t afraid to show their excitement.
And this is fun for us. It makes us want to do things that our dogs enjoy just so we can share in their excitement.
And it isn’t just dogs.
The same joy is what draws us to little kids and what makes us like to hang around certain types of people.
So if we gravitate towards this type of transparent elation, then why are we so hesitant to show our own excitement?
