How to bore a crowd

Do you ever find yourself wanting to bore a crowd to sleep?

It’s easy.

Just deliver your next presentation using a teleprompter, or read from a script.

If you’re lucky, you can even do it by memorizing your speech word for word and delivering with robotic precision.

The problem with any of these approaches is that they remove the human element from the presentation.

People don’t attend a speech to hear the words – they come for a performance.

What would you rather hear – an engaging story told from the heart at the dinner table or a soulless monologue?

How can you make your presentation more like the former than the latter?
