As much as I dislike unnecessary meetings and wasted time, there’s something to be said for face-to-face time with co-workers.

Some of the most fruitful conversations I’ve had – both on a personal and professional level – have come from chance encounters in the hallway or in the minutes before or after a meeting.

In theory, most of my work can be done remotely, but it’s tough to replace the value of the water cooler.
